PROFILE

Mir Adil Hameed is an Electrical Engineer by training, holding three Master degrees in Business Administration (MBA-Finance), Energy Management (MEM) and Energy Law and Policy (LLM) respectively. He is a Chevening Scholar who possesses rich energy sector experience spread over more than twenty years of working both in private and public sectors. He joined PPIB in 2002 and is currently working as Director Projects (TL). Prior to joining PPIB, he was working as Site Manager with a French multinational company, Alstom on Chashma Hydropower Project, Mianwali (Punjab).

As a member of Team PPIB, he has made significant contributions in development and successful commissioning of various green field IPPs at various locations in Pakistan. In addition to project management and execution, he has keen interest in energy / power sector policy reforms, system restructuring, regulation and governance. While working on different positions at PPIB, he has been playing useful role in development of power policies, guidelines and procedures for private sector investors interested in developing power plants based on multiple fuels in Pakistan.
